Cory Hedgecock Takes Topless Outlaw Series Top Cash at 411
Busy Weekend of Racing Action Awaits

Loudon, Tennessee (08/13/19) – Picking up his 14th win of 2019, Cory Hedgecock piloted his Cushman No. 23 K&P Used Cars/ Hidden View Lake/ XR1 Rocket Chassis/ Eagle Racing Engine Late Model to the Topless Outlaw Dirt Late Model Series (TODLMS) win on Saturday night at 411 Motor Speedway.

The victory in the Dylan Kennedy Memorial was worth $3,700 for the Tennessee racer.

“Saturday was yet another race at 411 Motor Speedway that went very well for my team and I. I absolutely love that place,” Hedgecock said. “Chase [King] drove a great race, but I was able to get past him late in the race. My team gave me a great car, and I want to thank them for busting their tails each-and-every night.”

Saturday night found Cory Hedgecock at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee), where he returned to action with the Topless Outlaw Dirt Late Model Series (TODLMS) in the annual Dylan Kennedy Memorial.

Earning the pole position for the A-Main after a Dash victory, Hedgecock lost the top spot early in the feature, but ultimately wrestled it away from Chase King late to capture his 14th win of the season and a $3,700 payday. Chase King, Matt Henderson, Austin Neely, and Ryan King trailed him to the checkers.

Cory has now won six events with the TODLMS in the tour’s inaugural season.

Hedgecock now turns his attention to a busy weekend of racing action. This Friday night he’ll be pulling double duty at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee). He’ll be behind the wheel of Jerry Green’s entry in Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series competition, and he’ll field his familiar No. 23 in the Steel Head Late Model portion of the program. On Saturday night, Cory will enter the Steel Head Late Model program at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee).
