I've been a big fan of Jason Sides for years ( going back to old Memphis Motorsports Park days ) and have watched him over the past few years with the Outlaws. Seems he is struggling from week to week to just get in the features. Is this due to big money teams vs small money teams? Just wondering?

One thing about Sides jumps out to me - he'll only run the low line when it's race time. He's where he needs to be in time trials, but when it's race time it's the low line or nothing. He won in Little Rock last year thanks to some home cooking and the low line was where to be. That said, Sides has forgotten more than I'll ever know about racing a 410, but it's hard not to notice that he'll always go straight to the bottom of the track when the green flag waives.

I'm not sure who's turning the wrenches. At some point in time a couple of years ago he picked up some speed when Scott Gerkin was wrenching for him. I'm not sure if Gerkin's still there or not.
