VA Supreme Court has ruled that the executive order issued by the Democrat Governor who restore voting rights to almost 200,000 felons was illegal and unconstitutional. His executive order allowed felons to vote in last Presidential elections. A state BTW won by Hillary.

That appears to have happened in 2016.

According to most recent reports I've found, this is more recent:

"When Republicans in Virginiaís state legislature revolted at that executive order and won an August 2016 Virginia Supreme Court decision blocking restorations en masse, McAuliffe took another route, with his office reviewing thousands of felonsí records and the governor restoring their rights individually using an autopen. The number of restorations completed that way only stood at 13,000 of the planned 200,000 in August of 2016.

"But the administration has been persistent, and now Secretary of the Commonwealth Kelly Thomasson tells me 172,298 people have had their rights restored as of Friday, with more on the way in the last week of the governorís term."

Restoring the rights of particular felons to vote has always been a practice well documented and used by every state in the Union. Why is unjustified restricting of legal votes so prevalent in the puke party?

And the investigations continue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The restoration of voting rights has always been a practice of our government since our very founding. Why do some resent it? Sad.

I think that's what you meant to say. Democrats are in favor of restoring voting rights to x-cons for one reason. The vast majority will vote democrat, just like illegal invaders. Wake up, and see the real truth.

Being in favor of our systems of voting being more inclusive and as constitutionally easy as possible does not mean that anyone might be in favor of violent criminals or illegals voting. In case after case these voting restriction trials end up with the judges dressing down those that have brought the issues to their courtrooms and have nothing whatsoever to demonstrate problems in the voting procedures. I've heard that the "illegals are voting in our elections." Where is the proof of that? I've heard that millions are voting more than one time in the same election. Where is the proof of that? I've heard all of the tall tales by the rightwingnuts in their efforts to restrict the voting rights for everyone but themselves. When the judges ask for proof of their claims they are always shortcoming of evidence of any kind. And, thankfully, most of those issues that land in court the judges and/or juries side with the constitution and send the rightwingnuts packing sand.

And the investigations continue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
