Know this is not a topic too many in here cover. But did you notice that Hamilton beat the track record in qualifying today by 4 seconds.

I think F-1 has finally done something right with the new formula. Cars are a little wider and have wider tires compared to years past Speeds have been up across the board this year when they have not had rain.

Right now i Hamilton wins again and Vettel finishes 6th or below then Hamilton wins another title.

Have not heard if COTA has found an answer to their financial troubles this year with F-1 under new ownership. But i have notice that a few series have dropped them for 2018.

I know the state reduced it's payments from the tourism fund which has been used to pay the sanctioning fee for the USGP.

Present day engineering can make any car go 600 mph or more. They haven't yet found a way to keep them on the track at that kind of speed. It's not the speed that keeps me watching the races. It's the competiveness with what they have that excites me. Obviously some teams are better than others. But the rules, if followed, keep everyone on an even keel in most instances. ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a interesting season for sure for the most part of the year. 3 different teams and 5 different drivers winning.

Which is unusual for F-1. Sadly Red Bull and Ferrari both had a streak of bad luck and Mercedes pulled away in drivers and manufacturer championships.

Want to say it was Singapore may have been elsewhere, when Hamilton qualified 4th row and then Ferrari and Red Bull took each other out at the start. Both were in position to make up a lot of points but blew it.

This formula is a lot better than the days when Schumacher won 9 straight and 13 out of 18.
