Does your local track have a credit card reader. Read a recent article about tracks that have credit card readers noting that you can increase your business at this point in time up to 34%. Impressive.

No but my son walked behind me the other day and pretended to swipe a credit card between the fat rolls on the back of my neck while asking me if that would be debit or credit....time to get back on that diet.

I would think most all of them would have them nowadays as people tend to not carry cash anymore. The ones that work on smart phones would be the easiest and many businesses use them. I use Square, it only charges you when you use it, no bills through the dead season. I got my hair cut the other day and the stylist shop was set up with them.
I would thing at a race track the food and novelty concessions would see a big boost.

Sadly too may tracks look only at that extra fee and not take in account the increase revenues generated by taking cards.

The have a static economy busineness model never realizing the potential revenue increases they are missing out on by not taking cards.
