Not to mention the increases in the prices that the American consumers will have to pay. Every penny levied on any product as a tariff will ultimately be paid by the consumer of that product. Forbes, the most well-known authority on economic issues, says that the USA has lost almost 500,000 jobs so far due to the trumpski tariff wars and hundreds of thousands of more jobs will be lost by Americans as the unadvised trade wars continue. At this moment it is estimated that each American consumer will pay more than $1,500.00 per annum in increased pricing due to the dumdon tariffs. WOW!!!!! How much more of this WINNING can we sustain?!?!????!!?

USDA: Net farm income, a broad measure of profits, is forecast to increase $4.0 billion (4.8 percent) to $88.0 billion in 2019, after increasing in both 2017 and 2018.

The reds don't usually provide a link, PV, because they do not have a link or a true idea about what is happening in a world wherein they only have their "feelings" about what is happening. The dumdon campaigned on his "feelings" and continues to spew them despite absolute facts that dispute about everything he claims to know so much about. I truly pity the fool that believes a single word coming from the mouth or tweet that the dumdon produces. Over 14,000 verifiable lies from him so far in his presidency and still counting doesn't sit well with people that merely want to know the truth. The co-writer of his autobiography states it straightly. You literally can't believe or count on a single word that the dumdon spews in whatever context he might spew them.

LOL. There's a reason Midge didn't want to post the link. From your link.

Quote:
Cash receipts for all commodities are forecast to decrease $2.4 billion (0.6 percent) to $371.1 billion (in nominal terms) in 2019. Total animal/animal product receipts are expected to increase $0.9 billion (0.5 percent) but fall 1.3 percent when adjusted for inflation. Increases in milk and hog receipts are expected to be nearly offset by declines in broiler and chicken egg receipts. Total crop receipts are expected to decrease $3.3 billion (1.7 percent) in nominal terms from 2018 levels following expected decreases in soybean receipts. Direct government farm payments are forecast to increase $5.8 billion (42.5 percent) to $19.5 billion in 2019, with most of the increase due to higher anticipated payments from the Market Facilitation Program.

It's amazing how the conservatives have gone from "government needs to get out of the way of free markets" to now supporting government interference via tariffs. Short memory, eh?
