Eagle Racing Engine Customers Enjoy Stellar 2018 Season
Company Expands Reach for 2019 Season
Knoxville, Tennessee (12/05/18 ) – Tennessee’s Eagle Racing Engines recently put a wrap on its 38th season of business. The company’s clients enjoyed another stellar season with wins and championships across the eastern and southeastern United States.
For the third-straight year, an Eagle Racing Engine propelled a driver to the Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series Championship. After seeing Cory Hedgecock sweep the titles in 2016 and 2017, Georgia’s Ashton Winger bagged the 2018 series championship. The talented young driver also claimed the Rookie of the Year honor with the tour.
“We ran all year with one motor from Eagle Racing Engines,” Winger says. “Never did I pull on the racetrack and question the power or durability of my motor from Eagle. If we ever had a question at the racetrack Cory, Mike, and Chad would always stop what they’re doing on their own car to make sure I was taken care of whether it was motor related or not.
“Eagle Racing Engines helped me capture the Durrence Layne National Championship in more ways than one. The Eagle team have become more than engine builders for us, they have become family and there’s not a better family I’d rather be a part of in the motor category.”
In the past three years, Eagle Racing Engine customers have won roughly 60% of the Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series touring races.
Jake Knowles, who finished second in the 2018 Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series standings also utilized an Eagle Racing Engine.
“The guys at Eagle Race Engines provided us with a great motor this year,” Knowles states. “Dependable, great power and good customer service. Chad and Cory answered any questions I had during the week or at the track, and that means a lot in this business.”
During the 2018 campaign, Hedgecock also added both a World of Outlaws (WoO) Craftsman Late Model Series win and a Southern All Star (SAS) Dirt Racing Series victory with Eagle power.
While the company enjoyed another banner season in Dirt Late Model racing in 2018, it’s important to note that they offer products for any type of motorsports.
“From dirt track racing to drag racing to classic cars, we have built race-and-championship winning engines for drivers across multiple divisions,” Eagle’s Cory Hedgecock comments. “We can truly do it all, no matter what your specific needs might be.”
Over the past several years Eagle Racing Engines has provided certified engines for multiple sanctions, including the United Championship Racing Alliance (UCRA), the South Eastern Crate Association (SECA), the United States Racing Association (USRA), and the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS).
For 2019 the company is proud to announce that it is now a certified builder and rebuilder for the RUSH Late Model Series.
“We’re extremely excited to now be RUSH certified because now we’ll be able to expand into the Northeast,” Hedgecock continues. “We’ve had a lot of interest from drivers in that region over the past few years, and now we can provide our top-notch products to these great competitors.”
