Tony Kanaan and his engineer Eric Cowdin who has been with Kanaan in 15 of his 17 Indy Car wins will also be joining AJ Foyt team, for 2018.

The addition of Kanaan gives AJ Foyt racing a championship level driver and the addition of Cowlin provides a tested engineer who has a history of winning.

Do not be surprised if the 14 is very competitive in 2018.

The universal bodywork is going to solve a number of problems for sure. Those dive planes on the Honda from wings were ludicrous

The engine cover changes are going to make a more sleek looking car. They say there will be more down force created by the bottom of the car reducing the drag that you have the top of the bodywork producing the down force.

They just finished a testing session for road course configuration.

The Glenn was replaced by Portland

Biggest downer is no Mexico City. Both Indy Car and IMSA were talking Mexico City over the summer. But there is still talk that Mexico City could be added.

Another bit of bad news is COTA is off the IMSA schedule. Replaced by Mid Ohio.
